Kindergarten is often the first time many of our students experience cooperative learning and social interactions that involve sharing and compromise. Sharing, communicating, and cooperating are skills that are used every day in our kindergarten science class! At the start of the school year, and interspersed throughout, we spend time learning how to work with others. The items I am hoping to get have students working with others while being introduced to engineering practices.
Engineering practices are the springboard for science! Each of the materials I've selected gives students the chance to interact with others while using creativity to design and problem solve...all skills needed in science!
About my class
