These books will make a huge difference in my classroom. Right now, the library in my room is small and I don't have much variety. We did a lesson where I asked students how I could help them become better readers this year. Each individual student set a reading goal to accomplish this year. Many students said they wanted to be able to read chapter books or they wanted to find a book series they loved by the end of the year. My goal was to make sure that every student in my room found a love for reading. In order for that to happen, we need more books in my room that my students will love.
Some requested books and book sets include Rainbow Magic Pet Keeper Fairies Collection, National Geographic Readers, Dog Man, Captain Underpants, What Do You Do With An Idea?, Baseball Great, Football Genius, Justice League Reading Collection, and Ivy & Bean.
I need books that allow every reader in my room the opportunity to experience the world through the pages of a good book (regardless of reading level). The reading levels in my 3rd grade classroom range from 1st grade to 5th grade. I need books that hit all areas of that spectrum. I picked every single book on my list with a specific child in mind. I am confident that with the books supplied on my list that I can help my students fulfill ALL of their reading goals this year.
