My classroom doesn’t have working laptops for students to move around with. They are 2nd graders and the one the school provides is too heavy for them and needs to be plugged in. I wish my students had easier laptops that they can manage around the classroom with to work and use in centers, independently, play educational games or use for projects with partners. Technology is such a big factor in today’s world and sometimes the only time they get to use it is in school because a lot of them don’t have the resources to have one at home. With the HP Intel Celeron laptops I can assign assignments for them from Clever using Imagine Math and Reading where it monitors their progress and it picks up where students have left off on. I can also view and monitor their progress and see exactly which areas my students are struggling and assign students assignments in those particular areas on Clever using the HP Intel Celeron laptops.
