My students are in a very low income school with a heavy second language learner population. Over 70% are involved in the free and reduced lunch program. They are excited to be challenged and want to learn. Some set the bar low for these children. I set the bar very high. I let these kids know that they can do whatever they set their minds to. To watch these kids see and use technology that they have been unaware of is to see real excitement and learning taking place.
