My students thrive in small groups with limited distractions. In a classroom with five or six groups being taught at a time, my students need distractions reduced. These dividers will help my students focus on what they are learning.
With kindergarten through fifth-grade student groups rotating throughout the day, my classroom is very busy. These dividers not only separate the different groups, but they also provide flannel boards and whiteboards to enhance student instruction.
The listening center will provide students who are non-readers or beginning readers with additional exposure to literature. The listening center will also provide students with an opportunity to put on headphones and relax to a story when anxious or frustrated.
