6th grade is the year that math changes. Most of the topics we cover are things that my students have never seen before. Games and interactive activities make lessons engaging and give my students the best opportunity at success.
Coordinate planes are not easy for most. The white boards included in my project have one side that is a coordinate plane. This will be incredibly helpful when we begin working with all 4 quadrants! The other materials will benefit students in centers as well as for my early finishers!
When I bring games into my lessons my students put a whole new level of energy into the activity. The new games included in the project will allow me to add new games to the mix that are directly associated with the topics we cover.
