After 18 years teaching Kindergarten and First grade, I am excited to have a new position as a Makerspace Education teacher at Glenview Elementary in Oakland, CA. This job gives me the opportunity to help students discover, invent, explore and create....4 of my favorite words! The Makerspace students students all levels of academic ability and English language skills a chance to shine! Students who are engaged in their school experience will benefit the most from their education. When students enter the room they cheer, "Yea! It's Makerspace time!" It is an honor to be a part of this wonderful program. Thanks for taking the time to look at my project.
