These materials will be used to develop a functional sensory room at Freedom Elementary. We have many students that require the use of a separate space to calm down, relax, and feel comfortable. Right now our resources are very limited, and it is my personal goal to create an environment for our students in need. Specialized and flexible seating, fidgets, weighted blankets and lap pads, light covers and sound machines are just some of the items that will help make this room an environment that will address a wide range of needs for the students in my building. About my class
