My students love to read and I want to give them more opportunities to do so with a vibrant and diverse library that will appeal to them. These books will help the children that need more visuals to comprehend and build vocabulary. I also feel that some of these books may be used for class discussion to inspire and challenge my students to set their sights on future career goals.
The microphone headsets will be beneficial because my students have language testing that requires these. The students can listen to books being read aloud to them. We also use an online program for reading and math that is better supported with the use of headphones.
Newcomers need resources to learn the alphabet. The students will benefit from tactile letters (sandpaper letters) because they can touch and feel the texture/shape of the letters. Also, the students can use the erasers with their whiteboards to practice dictation.
