I am trying to add some flexible seating into my classroom to give my students choices and a better learning environment. Flexible seating will allow my students to explore, collaborate, read, relax, and just learn by giving them choices of where they can do any of these things. I would really like to have 5 wobble chairs and 4 wobble cushions that my students can use through out the day. This furniture will allow them to move around. Five year olds have difficulty staying still and focused for a long period of time. These chairs will allow them to move around and be able to stay focused to complete assignments. Unfortunately, our school budget does not allow for a lot of extra spending. Most of it goes to basic supplies, which I am totally grateful for. I seek for the extra furniture here to really enhance my classroom environment. It will allow my students to have more choices and better learning opportunities!
