My students want to become readers. On a daily basis, my students are reading books on their instructional level and answering comprehension questions about what was read. They are required to write the page number where they found their answers. My students will read independently, with a partner, or in a small group for this activity. Reading daily is crucial to improving their reading and comprehension skills. My students' lunch is later in the school day. They usually get a little hungry and require a snack to carry them over. Providing snacks will be very helpful to my students' grumpy bellies. Their stomachs will appreciate it!
