Many of my students do not get the experience of learning through technology at home. We know our young children experience technology but not with the guided expertise of a teacher sitting with them.
My goal is to have a center with my Kindle Fires so that I can teach my children hands on technology lessons to help better prepare them for future grades. It would be an interactive center that students will be continuously engaged in and excited to be a participant.
As of right now we only have 2 computers in my classroom. As we all know children have a very difficult time waiting their turn. This would help alleviate that problem by giving each child in that center their own device.
