My goal is to have a classroom that provides multiple flexible seating choices for my students. The Wobble Chairs, Ball Chairs, Bumpy Seats and Laptop tables are a helpful tool to help students fidget, while still paying attention to learning. Flexible seating helps to allow students to focus and helps to improve students posture. It also allows movement in a minimal disruptive way while balancing. Flexible seating choices seems to be a helpful tool for helping all of my students, especially ones with attention difficulty. I want each of my students to make a choice for his/her best learning to take place. I believe I will have more focused students when allowing many choices for seating. With students having choice, I feel students will be highly engaged in their daily learning at school. Flexible seating would benefit all of my students. I am excited for this project to be funded. This type of flexible seating would only be possible through this project.
