My students are non-verbal or severely unintelligible and require iPads to access their curriculum and show the world who they are by expressing their own authentic thoughts through augmentative and alternative communication methods. These iPads will be loaded with augmentative and alternative communication apps for the students to use to communicate what is really inside of them with the outside world. The products that I have selected will help my students by giving them a voice. The students will be able to participate in class tasks with their neurotypical peers using these devices.
