I am seeking to give my students options for where they produce their best work in an effort to help my students become independent learners. My 2nd and 3rd graders love having options when choosing where to sit. At times, when students work at their tables, they get distracted by their classmates. With flexible seating options around the room, students will be able to find their quiet space and work their hardest. The kidney and round table will allow for more opportunities to move about the room. I love the idea of not having formal desks and having my students choose where to work!
