A teacher can talk about science all day, but science only comes to life when it is seen, touched and evaluated. I do the best that I can to seek out affordable ways to get my students working on projects.
My students love to build, create and explore, but they lack even simple bar magnets to explore topics in magnetism, so we need a classroom attractions kit and bar magnets. When I teach about circuits, we have a few wires and batteries, but very little else, so we need Snap Circuits electronics kits. When we explore thermal energy, heating curves and chemistry, we are lacking the stirrers, hot plates, and beaker covers needed to complete many of our projects. We also need a waves kit and prism. The resources that I am requesting will open the door to a myriad of learning opportunities for our students. You are the key that can open that door.
