My students do not have much but we do have each other. We thrive on opportunities to come together and share our learning and ideas. We move around and interact in our classroom a great deal to keep our brains thinking and energized. Studies show that he more we interact and discover together, the more we are internalizing. Our rug is a place where a lot of learning happens. This is where we have morning meeting, whole group lessons, a small group center, a reading corner, etc. A rug where we can all have our own space together as a group will make all the difference in our learning environment.
