Adding these books to our classroom library will open doors for the 5th graders. They will be exposed to new authors and new genres. They will still be reading old classics, but will also have the opportunity to check out these newer novels!
Flashlights for flashlight Friday will make for a fun end of the week reading experience! We will pull the curtains, find a comfy spot and read, read, read! Sometimes the simplest change of pace, like being allowed to read with a flashlight, can make a world of difference! I am sure Flashlight Friday will quickly become a favorite time in or classroom!
