An iPad is a universal tool that can be used by our current students and many students into the future. It can be used for so many different reasons- soothing music, functional communication, leisure activities, and learning games. Studies have shown that the use of a tablet can improve communication opportunities for students with disabilities, and we want to put these tools into the hands that so desperately want them.
By donating to our project you will be making a huge difference in the future of these students by allowing them a way they can have their basic needs met without stress and aggression. It will truly change their worlds.
Imagine for a moment that you cannot express hunger, pain, a need to use the restroom... This can change that for our young students! They will be able to use their own "voice" to tell us how they feel, what they think, to better access their school curriculum. It will truly allow us to teach these children in a way that will last a lifetime.
