As a Kindergarten teacher, I am constantly reading to my students. We have a literacy curriculum that helps introduce students to books, and a love of reading. This is the majority of my students favorite part of the day. We are constantly reading and referring back to the texts that are read throughout the day. This easel will help students be able to see the books that are being read while we are discussing literacy ideas about the text. It will also provide a place for them to be stored so that students can refer back to the text at any part of their day. We are also constantly needing new places for students to work. This easel provides a new area that my students are able to work and use magnetic letters and numbers that can be used to help learn letters, work on sight words and work on math skills.
