I like to use whiteboards in my class for all kinds of things. This can be doing math problems, practicing our writing, or working collaboratively. The problem is, white boards are such a mess. They are hard to keep clean. Whiteboard markers are always drying up and are expensive to replace. Whiteboard erasers get dirty and are large and bulky to store.
Giving my students these digital whiteboards will remove all of these obstacles that they face every day with their old, beaten up whiteboards. With these, we will be able to practice the skills that we learn without dealing with those filthy whiteboards or using piece after piece of paper. These will serve as our scratch paper. They will serve as our way of sketching out stories. They will serve as a way to keep notes while working collaboratively.
