All my students are between the ages of 3 and 5 and have learning disabilities. My students struggle to focus on learning and education in a classroom setting. Because of this, I have to come up with unique ways to teach my students their colors, numbers, and alphabet. A sensory table has a built in light to let students see transparent colors and objects. Light helps children with autism to focus their attention. I have several students who have autism. A sensory table will allow me to teach colors, numbers, and the alphabet in a more inventive way. The table will provide light for transparent colors and show how colors mix to form a different color. The students will also be able to trace numbers and letters using the light provided by the table.
