My project is designed to put Bouncy Bands on each one of my student desk. Bouncy Bands are simple, thick rubber bands which stretch across the legs of desk and allow students to rest their feet. I have one band in my classroom and student argue over who gets to sit in the desk with the bouncy band. Currently I leave the desk with the Bouncy Band clear in my seating chart, and we have a rotation so all students may sit in the desk at some point. Students have said Bouncy Bands make them more engaged and more able to pay attention throughout the lesson.
