My students are active in participating in a functional academic curriculum. My students are learning how to measure, follow step-by-step instructions, and make simple dishes. My students are learning daily living skills that will benefit them throughout their entire lives.
These new cooking supplies will engage my students in an active cooking curriculum to gain independence in the kitchen. The cooking lessons using the materials such as the pots and pans, bakeware,and utensils for this project are beneficial in helping the students achieve their daily living Individualized Education Plan goals as well. Other skills the students will be working on will be practicing their communication with one another.
