Feelings and Emotions can look and feel like so many things, and throughout each day your child can go through ALL of these. Everything from worrying, being surprised, nervous, scared, sad, happy, excited, and angry are just a few that your kids will experience. The hardest part is helping children identify these emotions and learn how to manage them. As a psychologist with over 5 years of experience in elementary-high school; I have found that the best way to teach children about their feelings and emotions is through books. Children are able to experience what the characters are feeling and relate to them in a way that is not possible without books! Please help me help our children increase their emotional identification and provide tools to help them day today!
