With a focus on the various needs of students, I hope to honor and validate differing learning styles. I believe this is best achieved through the design of the horseshoe table. I envision that, during group work time, I will spend some time with each group of kids, periodically rotating through the class. This way, I am able to work with all of the students in smaller settings.
Furthermore, I want to ensure students maintain engagement and thirst for learning by tying in the relevance of education and the power their voice carries beyond the classroom. I hope to keep them informed through the Time for Kids magazines and foster their curiosity through educational games!
