My students attend school for over 8 hours (sometimes more for extended day tutoring sessions). Can you imagine sitting in a hard, plastic chair for over 8 hours? Do you think you would you be effective and successful? I implemented partial flexible seating in my classroom last school year and had phenomenal results! My students look forward to class and working in teacher-led groups, where I usually remediate. I would love for them to feel the same way with all assignments.
