As overhead projectors were once a staple in a teacher's classroom, a document camera has overtaken their status. My school has moved towards creating technology rich classrooms and lessons in the past several years however adding a document camera that all teachers could use to enhance lessons would be wonderful. With 3 grade levels, 11 classrooms and 220 students this document camera could reach so many children. Over 69% of our students qualify for free and reduced lunch which as data shows us, indicates a lack of resources available to students within their homes.
