The classroom divider would assist my students by showing them when the library in my room is closed. Currently, students have a hard time understanding when they can and cannot be in the library and get distracted during instructional time. The cushions would assist my squirmy students with staying in their seats.
Many of my little learners are very active and have a hard time remaining seated during instructional time. I attempt to get them up and out of their seats as much as possible, but sometimes we need to complete work while sitting and this can be hard for many of my students. By having the cushions, my students would still be able to squirm, move, and receive sensory stimulus while doing the work that needs to get done.
