The Cheez-Its, Goldfish, granola bars, pencils, and stickers, I have requested will be used in conjunction with my positive behavior system in my classroom. I will place the items in a class Treasure Chest for the students to choose from on weeks when they have had excellent behavior in class and at recess. Studies show that the more respect classmates have for each other, the more learning will take place. The more they are responsible for their behavior, the better they will be. These items get costly for teachers to purchase and I am trying to supply an assortment of things for my students to choose from. I did a survey with my students to ask what they were interested in and these were their choices. Please help fill our basket of rewards for the school year!
