Our middle school serves students in 6th through 8th grade with diverse backgrounds and abilities. Thirty percent of our students are economically disadvantaged. Eighteen percent are students with disabilities. We have approximately 808 students. We have a 13:1 student: teacher ratio. The school is fully accredited.
Our students, teachers, and administrators strive to create a student-driven environment where student input is a top priority and all students are actively involved in their learning both in and out of the classroom.
With this goal in mind, it is important to offer hands-on manipulatives and activities to students and teachers to utilize. Offering various games, manipulatives, and technology in the library would encourage our students to learn and create with a 21st century approach.
