My classroom uses Chromebooks on a daily basis. It is the only technology some of my students are exposed to, and in our digital world, it is vital that they know how to use devices, and learn how to be good digital citizens. Much of our curriculum is now internet based, and students will need to have access to these programs. The problem, however, is when the entire class, at one time, is tying to view a video, or participate in an interactive learning environment. The noise can be overwhelming, and disrupts the learning opportunity. Headphones would eliminate this issue, and allow my students to get the most out of their classroom experience.
