My students live in a small isolated desert town of about 1,200 people. There are no grocery stores or shopping centers here. Most of my students have never been farther than 30 minutes away from home and are not familiar with other cultures and traditions. I would like to create a positive learning environment where all students feel welcome and accepted. We are currently learning about different places and people. I would like to have additional resources to add to my curriculum. My students love learning about new places and people. I believe that this would be a valuable curriculum asset.
