My students are eager learners and LOVE coming to the art room. I try to keep things exciting and surprising for them. There are so many aspects of art, I love watching them come to life as I introduce a new area. Landscapes can be somewhat of a bore to 8th graders but with the right materials and setting (I play traditional Chinese music as they enter the room) the landscapes become a way of escaping our little classroom.
