Support Mrs. Topolski's classroom with a gift that fosters learning.
Year after year, students are asked to spend hours sitting at their desks while we attempt to fill their brains, engage them with fascinating content and motivate them to try their best. However, with dwindling recess times and increased screen times, students are sitting still for far too long. As an adult, I hate sitting in one spot for too long and I am sure my students feel the same way.
I want to give my students lots of options as to where and how they sit (or stand) while they participate in learning! These flexible seating options will help my busy-body learners stay focused and active while engaging their bodies and minds. My students are diverse and have a variety of specific needs--what works for one may not work for all, so why put them all in the same stiff, hard chairs?
I want my students to be comfortable. When you are comfortable, you learn easier and can focus on new ideas instead of getting distracted by how uncomfortable you are sitting at your desk.
