Some of the snacks I chose for my students include Nature Valley Bars, Austin Cracker Cookies, and Welch's Fruit Snacks to give their bodies a little boost throughout the day. These snacks will provide my students with the energy they need for Math, Reading, Science and Social Studies.
My students have a difficulty time comprehending information and staying awake in class when they are deprived when they go hours without any calorie intake. When my students have full bellies, they are more engaged in learning, they are happier, and calmer. During snack time, my students and I enjoy time to chat about their extracurricular activities outside of school and their life at home. This time helps them wind down before we begin our reading lesson.
