They can sit up and join circle time without falling over. The students with autism feel more comfortable and join carpet time when using the cube chair, but we only have one in the classroom and students have hard time accepting this and have tantrums over the one chair and then can not function during class time. They feel secure with the chair. The students who can’t run around during recess enjoy LEGO’s, but over time we have lost many of them and students have a hard time going through them and they get lost. These things would make class time more successful and enjoyable.
