With art supplies, we would be able to create pieces that are related to what they will be learning in their History class (Ancient Civilizations in 6th grade). The projects we bring to life will benefit visual and kinesthetic learners in the classroom. I plan on having them create mosaics, sculptures, pottery, scrolls, models, and paintings while focusing on the civilizations they are learning- Mesopotamia, Egypt, India, Greece, Rome, and China. For example, I will need clay, sticks, and paint to make pyramids. I will need construction paper and glue for mosaics. I am hoping that these kids will get the opportunity to demonstrate their creativity and have fun at the same time!
