The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more things that you know, the more places you’ll go! ~Dr. Suess Early literacy skills is essential to becoming a strong reader. I’m today’s society, technology is everywhere. It helps grab kids attention when nothing else is working. iPads can be used to help build phonemic awareness and other important skills needed for early readers. Having a classroom iPad would be a wonderful tool to use with struggling students who need help filling gaps in their early literacy skills. The earlier they are exposed to words and books, the better reader they will become!
