These items will allow my students to feel comfortable in the classroom to work independently and cooperatively in groups. Many of my students have very stressful lives at home, so it is hard for them to focus in class. Allowing them to have creative seating options will make them feel at ease; therefore, increase their ability to focus. Providing them with unique seating options will allow my high energy kids to release energy and reduce anxiety.
My students will have the opportunity to lay on the floor using yoga mats or the rug to read independently or work in groups. The bean bags will be used as apart of a reading station.
About my class
