Earbuds will allow students to take part in technology based lessons that will help them become more familiar with 21st Century skills. These items will be used in daily lessons to help students better self pace their learning by using the earbuds with videos and programs like Edpuzzle. By using programs like this, I plan on supplementing my lessons with videos that connect to the content covered that allow me to keep track of student understanding through questions and discussion. Students will be asked to answer questions before they move onto later portions of a video, which allows them to better self pace and re-watch portions of the video they do not understand.
Earbuds will allow students to use technology in a way that will help them better develop skills in listening comprehension, critical thinking, and analysis. By using this technology, students will be able to complete lessons at their own rate without the fear or pressure that they are "holding the class up" or are being "too slow."
