The Doodle Journaling club is an after school club that focuses on providing students, who come from underrepresented, low income communities, a place to feel safe. Through journaling and doodling students are allowed the opportunity to process emotions, alleviate stress and show their creativity in a fun way. The supplies requested will provide a journal for 30 students along with the supplies needed.
Students will be creating a unique personalized journal with the emphasis on doodling and writing about their thought and emotions. This will be a great way for my students to de-stress the school's daily rigor before they go home for the day.
