This year our principal wants for the staff at our school to teach sustainability to the student body. As a librarian, using Makerspace is a great way for me to provide lessons and introduce it to the students. LEGO bricks truly lend themselves to students' imagination and show a variety of ways in which building can be sustainable. Building sustainable ideas using LEGO bricks will get my students to work together toward a common goal. Each grade level will use the LEGO bricks to make their own city. I will display them at the library for all students and teachers to see.
