Our students are hindered by inadequate furniture. Being in a poor geographic region of Maine, we need all the help we can get to create a productive classroom. By working in a project-based environment through the use tables with chairs that are safe, we can focus on real learning, collaboration, and socialization rather than be bogged down by the "broken desks and chairs" we have today. Kids LOVE to work in groups! They learn from each other. It's amazing to see them team up to solve a problem, create, and explore. It would be amazing to facilitate this type of learning with tables and chairs that are safe.

About my class
