Our school has a high rate of socioeconomically disadvantaged children. Many of their parents have insecurities about their abilities in math, which they unintentionally pass on to their children. Our school culture maintains the belief that all children can succeed. We support the 'whole child' and the 'whole family', as well. Many of our parents are learning math concepts for the first time (and enjoying it!)
