About 75% of my students come from extreme poverty or unstable living conditions; however, they all come in ready to learn and are willing to grasp new concepts and information. Our school has limited resources that do not support the availability of technology for daily classroom activities.
Tablets in the classroom would allow my students the opportunity to expand their knowledge as well as expose them to more in depth concepts. The students can expand their education and understanding of the world around them while navigating at their own pace. Technology in the classroom would give all my students the same exposure and right set of circumstances to succeed.
