We will be using these books to help students build their vocabulary in English. My heritage learners need to develop reading skills in English and Spanish and they need to have a selection of different genres and topics and reading levels to choose from. This project will fund graphic novels, fiction, and nonfiction. Many students have a low reading level so this project provide them with low level readers designed for teens. These books will help students find a book that they are interested in and capable of reading. I hope to foster a love of learning in Spanish and English this year in my school!

About my class
