Our school is in an area that was affected last year during Hurricane Harvey. My students recently received funding from Donors Choose and we are excited to roll out our new project of having Flexible Seating in our guided reading center!
During guided reading we will use the blue tooth cd player and headphones to facilitate a guided reading listening station in our classroom. We will also have multiple choices of seating for our students to select from when sitting during guided reading.
We will use the big pillows, wobble stools and the ball bounce set as seating options for our students during this learning time. We need the rolling cart with the shelf to place our guided reading books on and to help with organizing our material. Our students love the new flexible seating so much, we decided to expand our choices to ensure each student has flexible seating daily. To do that, we will need 10-12 more seats!
