My students spend up to 6 hours a day in the classroom setting and offering flexible seating options means I can pair comfort with learning! I currently use flexible seating as an engagement tool and students are highly motivated to learn in a place where they can feel comfortable. Who doesn't love the idea of sitting back with your feet up and enjoying a good book? Flexible seating means my students have a voice in how they learn best! Each morning students are offered an opportunity to make a choice in which seat they will use to help them stay on task and focus on their learning. Allowing my students the chance to move is important to me.
