Students spend all day long in classrooms learning new ideas, especially in Science. They work hard all year to learn and discover Science as it applies to standards. This trip will help to solidify many of these ideas for students as they will be able to experience them outside of their own small community. Students will be able to come full circle with what they have learned throughout the year, and they will be able to develop experiences that they have never imagined having the opportunity for. I want to open their eyes to the world around them and help them to realize that Science does not just have to happen in the classroom, but all around them.

About my class
